A Picture Story of My Last Week
Flew out to Calgary Canada last week with Dimension One Spas for our annual summer DDC meeting. We were treated to a day of white water rafting on the Kicking Horse River in Banff, then we went site seeing in at Lake Louise and Banff Springs. What a beautiful place! It reminded me a lot of my days spent in Portland and Seattle, I miss those days from time to time. I'll spare you the boring details and show you the pics instead.
Chateau Lake Louise Hotel - just plain Heavenly!
A view from the back of the Chateau Lake Louise
Banff Springs Hotel - Absolutely amazingGot home on Friday night in time to get my Saturday household chores done. As soon as I was done with that I packed Ava up and went camping at Timberline in Waukee. Ann's got the camera that I took the camping pics, (she is up at Okoboji right now), so I'll have to post those another time. Looks like the weather is going to cooperate this week so we'll see you out on the road bikes! TT race on Sunday appears as though it is a go.

I was in that area about 14 years ago. It is absolutely fantastic.
That was a crazy post.
Sweet stuff Pete, rafting is fantastic.
See you at the TTT this weekend.
Chris - thanks for posting, Banff is awesome, man I was blown away with the beauty of the area. Canadians are pretty darn cool too. Had a great time.
Piggy - quit reading the blogs and get back to riding, we need you strong for this weekend's TTT.
Carl - are you riding in the TT? It's gonna be a hard one!
Snowboarding and Baniff are some where on a list of things to do in my lifetime:) I miss my big buddy.
